Our classes are designed to take you through a learning process that encompasses the full scope of postures and breathing practices.  Our small classes provide students with individual attention and instruction promoting a supportive and personal learning experience.  True progress in the practice of yoga requires prolonged study at each level.  We strongly encourage all our students to practice Beginner’s Mind and continuously go back to the foundational classes for refinement and rediscovery.

Back Care

This beginner friendly class is for the tighter stiffer body. We will focus primarily on bringing relief to the legs, hips, and lower back while teaching participants how to keep the spine healthy and strong. Some attention will also be given to the upper back, neck, and shoulders.
The class will utilize yoga props such as chairs, blocks, belts, and blankets or towels. Through Zoom video conferencing you will be able to see the teacher and interact with them. If you choose, the teacher can see you too! There will be time after each class to interact with the group and a Q&A with the teacher.

Foundations of Yoga & Iyengar Yoga

This class works slowly and precisely to give participants a solid foundation in Iyengar Yoga. Appropriate for beginning students or those with tighter, stiffer bodies.  The class will utilize yoga props such as chairs, blocks, belts, and blankets or towels. Through Zoom video conferencing you will be able to see the teacher and interact with them. If you choose, the teacher can see you too! There will be time after each class to interact with the group and a Q&A with the teacher.

General Level

This general level online class is appropriate for practitioners with some yoga experience. Brand new yoga students are encouraged to begin with the Foundations class. The class will utilize yoga props such as chairs, blocks, belts, and blankets or towels. Through Zoom video conferencing you will be able to see the teacher and interact with them. If you choose, the teacher can see you too! There will be time after each class to interact with the group and a Q&A with the teacher.

Intermediate

This class is intended for intermediate students who have an established Iyengar Yoga practice. Emphasis is placed on learning inversions, and going deeper into backward extensions, forward extensions, balancing poses, and twists. No active injuries please unless you have the teacher's permission.   The class will utilize yoga props such as chairs, blocks, belts, and blankets or towels. Through Zoom video conferencing you will be able to see the teacher and interact with them. If you choose, the teacher can see you too! There will be time after each class to interact with the group and a Q&A with the teacher.

Restorative Yoga

Restorative promotes rest and relaxation for the body, mind, and nervous system. You will experience a practice that is fully supported and calming to the mind. Appropriate for practitioners of all levels including those new to yoga. The class will utilize yoga props such as chairs, blocks, belts, and blankets or towels. Through Zoom video conferencing you will be able to see the teacher and interact with them. If you choose, the teacher can see you too! There will be time after each class to interact with the group and a Q&A with the teacher.
